***Maria Antonietta e' una figura eterea, capricciosa e  lunatica, che si potrebbe immaginare come una fresca rosa ricoperta di brina, pronta per sbocciare. La maturita' della regina Maria Antonietta arrivera' troppo tardi per poterla salvare da una tragica fine, ma la bellezza che la attornia in tutta la narrazione, la freschezza dell'ingenuita' di cui e' dotata, e il suo desiderio di essere libera e di poter amare liberamente non fanno altro che renderla particolarmente affascinante. Anche se ampiamente criticata per il suo atteggiamento, diviene piu' semplice pensare che il suo comportamento sia dovuto a delle cause specifiche e non semplicemente ad avarizia e amore del potere.  Quindi come poteva Mancare un cosplay a tema settecentesco?? Con tutti i pizzi e i merletti oltre che ai velluti...*.*

Her Maturity will arrive too late for saving her from a tragical death but the beauty that surround the queen during the narration, the ingenuousness' freshness of which she's gifted with, her freedom's wish and the hope of loving freely do nothing but  render her  definitely charming. Even if she's  widly criticized  because of her attitude, it's simple thinking that her attitude  was due  to specifical reasons and not  to avarice and power's love. So how can an eighteenth - century cosplay  be absent?? With all  the laces  and the velvets....  *.*

 Our Interpretation....

***Sango(in giapponese vuol dire corallo, mentre in cinese vuol dire ragazza dal bellissimo aspetto) è una Taijiya, cioè sterminatrice di demoni nata e cresciuta in un villaggio di predatori professionisti, insieme al padre e al fratello minore, Kohaku. Determinata e bellissima, la sua vita è stata sconvolta quando ha assistito allo sterminio del suo clan per mano di suo fratello Kohaku,che era manovrato da Naraku. Sua inseparabile compagna è la gattina-demone Kirara, mentre la sua arma è l''Hiraikotsu, un enorme boomerang costruito con ossa di demone. Unendosi al gruppo di Inuyasha riesce a placare la sua malinconia e a trovare il calore di una famiglia. Inoltre si innamora di Miroku, anche se non ammette i propri sentimenti (e la sua tremenda gelosia quando lui avvicina qualche fanciulla). Tenta con tutte le sue forze di far ricordare al fratello i tragici eventi passati nel vano tentativo di affrancarlo dalla schiavitù di Naraku, che lo usa come mero burattino nelle sue mani. Probabilmente uno dei cosplays a cui sono più affezionata, dato che la sua preparazione è stata lunga e impegnativa, non solo sartorialmente, ma soprattutto per quanto riguarda la realizzazione del boomerang...e sono soddisfattissima del risultato!!!

***Sango( in japanese means coral, in chinese beautiful woman) is a yôkai slayer (taijiya) who hails from a village of professional yôkai slayers. Sango wields the Hiraikotsu, a massive boomerang made of yôkai bones, along with a broad repertoire of tools and tricks for battling yôkai. Sango's family was killed and her entire village destroyed by Naraku's yôkai so that Naraku could steal their jewel shards. He then blamed InuYasha and manipulated Sango into trying to kill him. When that ploy failed, Naraku used a shard of the Shikon Jewel to revive and control her little brother Kohaku, forcing him to fight InuYasha and company, and using him as a means by which to manipulate Sango. She seeks vengeance against Naraku, but her primary goal is to rescue Kohaku from Naraku's influence and somehow save his life. She has feelings for Miroku, although she is offended by his constant groping and lechery. Miroku eventually asks Sango to live with him and bear his children after Naraku is destroyed, which Sango agrees to. Probably  one of my favourite cosplays, because the preparation was long and exacting, not only about the dress-making, but especially about the construction of the boomerang...and I'm very very pleased with what I done!!

 **Il suo vero nome è sconosciuto ed Excel rappresenta un nome in codice.  È l’eroina della storia, iperattiva e determinata. Muore nel primo episodio dell’anime XD, ma viene riportata in vita dalla Grande Volontà del Grande Universo e si arruola nell'ACROSS; è innamorata perdutamente di Sua Eccellenza Il Palazzo che, dal canto suo, sembra non sopportare minimamente la ragazza!!!!  Personaggio totalmente folle che ho adorato e continuo ad adorare per la sua incredibile pazzia (che in certi casi mi ricorda quasi me stessa!!  XD). Il costume non ha presentato particolari difficoltà...anche se non è stato per niente facile trovare la stoffa del colore adatto!!!!

 ** Her real name is unknow and Excel represents a code name. She's the heroine of the story, iperactive and determinate. She dies in the first anime's episode XD, but she's broght back to life by the Big Will of the Big Universe and she enlist in the ACROSS; she's desperately  in love with  Your Excellence The Palace who, as for him, seems to hate  the girl!! A titally fool character which I loved and I continue to love because of her madness (that sometimes resemble myself!!! XD). The costume presented  no difficulties...even if it wasn't simple to find the right color's cloth!!!

*Misa Amane, protagonista dell'anime Death Note,  è una ragazza dal comportamento infantile con una cotta per Kira. È una famosa modella e ama vestirsi in stile Gothic Lolita. È immatura e ha la tendenza a riferirsi a se stessa in terza persona (chiamandosi "Misa-Misa") nel tentativo di sembrare carina. Misa è del tutto devota a Light, di cui, secondo quanto detto da lei stessa, si è innamorata a prima vista. Light, tuttavia, la vede solamente come una risorsa per i suoi piani, grazie al Death Note che anch'essa possiede.E' così carina che non potevo non farne il cosplay!!!

*Misa Amane,feminine protagonist of the anime Death Note, is a girl with an immense crush on Kira, Misa is a popular idol in Japan, and tends to wear clothing in many different styles, depending on what she is doing. She is immature and tends to refer to herself in the third person( Misa-Misa) in an attempt to be cute. Misa is completely devoted to Light, and she once said that she loved him at first sight. She's so cute and I had to do her cosplay!!! ^___*

*Il Mio primo cosplay!!! Licia è il personaggio a cui sono più legata..realizzare questo costume per me ha significato l'entrata nel mondo del cosplay...ed è stato bellissimo calarsi nei panni di questa ragazza così dolce e sognatrice, romantica e  premurosa, ma all'occorrenza che sa tirare fuori un bel caratterino e che non si fa mettere i piedi in testa da nessuno! Il vestito è stato piuttosto semplice da realizzare...ma la vera e propria chicca sono gli zoccoli...a mio parere adorabili!!!!!   *.* 

*My first cosplay!!! Licia is the carachter that I love the best....realizing tihs costume for me has meaned  the entrance in the cosplay's world...and it was beautiful putting me in the shoes of a girl so sweet and dreamer, romantic and gentle...but when she needs she can  pull out her bad temper !!! The costume was rather easy to realize....but the real and own sweetie are the   sabots... in my opinion  they're adorable!!! *.*
